The 2 mustache options at the end of the facial hair list look too similar, and I want a smaller “just mustache” option than what the other mustaches provide. Removing the goatee from one of them would solve this issue. However, there are other potential preferences that can be addressed while I’m here.
While adding a second facial hair option, and splitting the mustache/goatee into 1 “just mustache” and 1 “just goatee”, would fundamentally fix this issue, I think that this would require, or at least warrant, a readjustment of a significant portion of the NPCs and characters that already exist in the Bronze Sea. For something so insignificant as “I want a smaller mustache option”, such an overhaul is excessive and wastes time that could be spent on adding other things.
Lastly, I cannot forget the possibility of some monster out there wanting both a mustache AND a goatee. As a result, alongside the previous changes, a mustache and goatee option must be added in.
- For the sake of brevity, it’s way better to just keep one of the current mustaches and then split the other one.
- I will make a poll on which mustache option they like better.
- Personally, I like the smaller mustache option (the one on the right), because it doesn’t visibly clip with, say, a bandana.
- Additionally, messing with the hair/facial hair toggles in the inventory is a hassle, and only useful in the event of the player character’s disguise not updating when they leave Ravenna.
All of this hinges on one important question: Would it even be possible to change the mustache/goatee models in such a way? I hope there isn’t some weird model-breaking issue that attempting to split the mustache and goatee causes.
I am so mad right now, are you seeing this?
- Option 1 (on the left)
- Option 2 (on the right)
