It older versions he had, but in the current version no he didn’t. He was losing, but the conflict had not yet been won and resolved by Prometheus. Cursebeard jumps in before that can happen in the current version.
There’s nothing stating the exact death of Zeus in the current version, but this line is about the best we got that seems to imply Cursebeard and co took him out too.
If you want to say that Prometheus had already killed Zeus and was just fighting the remaining gods fighting for Zeus’ cause I wouldn’t say that’s an incorrect interpretation. But there’s enough here to very reasonably assume that Zeus wasn’t dead by the point Cursebeard marched on Olympus.
No? That line states that Cursebeard’s allies took out the Gods alligned to Prometheus when they marched on Prometheus’ stronghold of Mt Olympus

Like I said before there’s room for multiple interpretations here and my little short story works within the one where Zeus is still alive when Cursebeard marches on Olympus.

Where was this stated? There’s nothing in the lore doc stating either side completely took control of Mount Olympus by the time Cursebeard started marching on it.
Arguing over something as fluid as the Arcane Universe lore, knowing it’s been retconned several times, isn’t very fruitful to any side. I think you should both agree to disagree, especially in a topic where the entire point is “what if something in the AU was different!”

- Order of Aesir’s influence in the Bronze sea/ War seas is possibly diminished (they were only able to recruit Calvus bc he took the throne at such a young age)

I don’t think Neviro would be king, given that Kessler and his sons wouldn’t be dead in this scenario
All that this says is that he’s on Mount Olympus, nothing about him having taken control. If anything the bit about the conflict being about to resolve means that up until Cursebeard came in there could’ve been fighting going on at that second. If Prometheus had actually taken Mount Olympus and had actually killed Zeus don’t you think that would have been mentioned? Like that seems pretty major and would warrant more than just “he was winning”.

- Order of Aesir has less influence in the Bronze sea (Caesar being alive means Calvus isnt on the throne yet)
- Cassia town probably still exists
- Ravenna’s geopolitical position is likely strengthened
Thorne victory
- Thorne empire captures Cassia Town
- Ravenna’s geopolitical position is likely weakened
- more than one (two counting Redwake) major kingdom the Bronze sea
- Cassia town possibly exists (still vague on what exactly created the giant tornado that destroyed it)

He might get the experimental curse just without being dead this time. Also maybe Zaix lives in this timeline? JTN confirmed that Avery Walker survived and he was in worse condition than Zaix, so if Ravenna soldiers are around to provide him medical aid he might be alright.
They probably take the entirety of Bronze aside from maybe Redwake cause they don’t want to start a war with Sameria.
It’s confirmed on the non-story bosses card on the trello that an experimental curse landed on Octavious’ corpse and made him into a sorta zombie guy(not the contagious kind) that indiscriminately attacks everyone around him. He’s probably the cause of the tornado since the card also states that we’ll only be able to fight him when the sand storm clears up which means he’s inside it and probably controls it.
what if mc’s entourage didn’t have to fight the fodder when they broke out of the mines (calvus gets curbstomped)
