Arcane odyssey is currently undergoing what might the most drastic change of it’s history.
But i want to believe that this is not the end of it.
That’s why i make this thread so that we post positive stuff.
As for my contribution:
I trust the testers/friends that’ll take over the game
vetex should still look over most things, so it’ll probably be alright
We’ve had a few good apples from testers here and I really hope they can fit to make meaningful changes to the game
I don’t want the bad apples in charge though
This might be for the best genuinely, this game was the reason that led to me find multiples ways out of my mental illness at the time and to see it fall makes me deeply saddened, but what I noticed is that having hope works most of the time so I hope the new testers/devs will do their best to continue this pretty good game. Hopefully Vet comes back from this a clean and newer person so I hope for the best.

This game helped me find my bestie (not like that’s a high bar to clear, since I’ve rarely had friends, but who cares), seeing it get cancelled would hurt like hell. Good thing there is something being done behind the scenes to at least try to prevent that.
Well if there’s 1 silver lining from this whole situation, it’s that we might actually get devs who properly connect with the community

i havent been looking into AO for a while and it reaaaally sucks to see a game I’ve loved fall into a trap like this, but it definitely isn’t the end
I have faith in the future team that could work on this - there’s a lot of passion put into the game by the community, and I feel with the correct people involved, the game can get far
Honestly, in a situation like this, it is hard for most to have hope. For the most part, when things seem like they might go to shit in this community, it probably will. But, I still hope that there is still a future for Arcane Odyssey. After all, we can’t foresee the future and this could actually be a brand new chapter in Arcane Odyssey’s existence that will change everything for the better. After all, having a new direction brings so many new opportunities. For example, the devs could actually add more people to the dev team since Vetex won’t be the head of the game (kind of) and some major problems, like for example immersion that makes the game run like crap like for example the Dark Sea being in the main game and some weather problems. The only problem is that there will most likely be a long wait. I don’t know much about coding but for a completely new dev team to get used to pre-establish code, especially a huge amount of code, it will take a long while. But, I still have hope that this will be the first step forward in the right direction so that one day our investments into this game will be worth it.
