i hope someeone clicked this thinking it was a link for a game that’d let you plan a design for a future ao character

this topic was actually made with the intent to beg for some experienced roblox studio dev to make a game similar to deepwoken outfit planner, because oh my god that would be so fucking awesome
i hate having to open my inventory and wait for shit to load for one minute just to see how my outfit looks after switching items like bro we need a game like deepwoken outfit maker but for ao

Unless Vetex approves it, using certain assets[1] from Arcane Odyssey is strictly prohibited, he hates stealing… despite stealing ideas from other games to implement as immersion.

Immersion features can not be “owned” nor “stolen”, immersion implies that you’re quite literally taking a concept from the real world and implementing it in your game as a detail.

You act as if being inspired by several other sources is the same as using someone’s art without permission. Of course, the reason why Vetex is the devil is secondary to making sure everyone has heard that Vetex is the devil, right?

Goodness, I know you people that make being negative about vetex and AO your personality scrape the bottom of the barrel like your ability to have anything relevant to post depends on it, but really? He stole temperature? Fall damage? Tell you what, while you’re digging past the floorboards under the barrel in the dirt for mud to sling, let us know if you can find the game from which he stole fall damage.

I mean I see the problems with these things but they aren’t… tangible to copyright / patent / whatever

Off-topic, but I think tanning is fine. It’s a nice detail that isn’t so visually bothersome, as opposed to dirt. Dirt sucks. Tan can be kept.

yeah tanning is cool but dirt accumulation is a feature that should’ve never been added

I’d love it if there was a toggle so I’m not forced to have my drip changed
I have 1 single character who i already chose a skin tone that already looked partially tanned.
It’s like: “Why did i shift 3 skin tones while just walking around here?”

Also what was he genuinely thinking when he made that save across servers? Did he not know how almost everyone seems to not like the server, yet he expanded on it anyway

considering how he handles some other stuff though (lashing out at the community & intentionally making things bad) it feels like he made it save across servers out of spite for all of us or someone who was particularly annoying about not liking that feature
