Best way to break objects? (rocks, trees, stalagmites)

I’ve been trying to find a fast way to stock up on items that require you to break overworld objects (rocks, trees, stalagmites), BUT my magic is Poison (VERY WEAK IN DESTRUCTION)

  • A double beam from Poison barely break a rock
  • It takes a few double beams and blasts just to break trees and stalagmites, so I’ve been slashing them with a greatsword when I can (about 4 slashes I think)

Are there any universal ways to break these faster?

Attack Destruction jewels, and I think Attack Size helps.

what is your class, cause it dosent seem like its mage since you would have a 2nd magic otherwise
mass blasts/beams (20 blast/beam) are good ways if i remember correctly, 5 placed explosions are also decent but take a lot of time

i think greathammer does better than greatsword at M1

lance of loyalty is really good, doesn’t matter if you’re not warlord since you just m1. 2 m1s to break a tree iirc

Piercing shot, Flying slash, Flying pheonix (if you can use that one), Sparrow Thrust, spear/axe throws are all good options for smaller breaking, and you can combo with your magic/multiple weapons to break bigger things. There is a ton of AoE skills that i didnt mention that are also quite decent. I defenitely missed a couple skills too, feel free to just experiment with what you think is good

Canons/mortars actually do the job pretty well
Or just equip vindicator and hammer it for a bit

20 blasts at smallest size takes THREE CASTS to destroy one tree
20 beams at smallest size takes TWO CASTS to destroy one tree
5 self explosions at smallest size takes THREE CASTS to destroy one tree

after some testing
20 smallest beams + one regular blast destroys one tree so thats kinda efficient for a magic with as shit destruction as poison
so i think thats better than an un-imbued 3 slashes from greatsword :skull:

note: i had +3% destruction from gems

Any class can Swing Big Axe and Hit Stuff, just do that

20 count spells are actually bad for this stuff

for reference, 1 plasma beam with +200% atk destruction can wipe out multiple buildings in 1 shot, but 20 blasts will only damage the buildings a bit

also, poison has one of the lowest destruction stat

You’re a conjuror right?
Pick up a high destruction magic, do not imbue it with poison, and hit the thing you want to break with said weapon.
