Currently the arrow trajectory is very weird. Sometimes when I aim my cursor directly at a player, the arrow slightly misses them. I think I have an explanation for this. If you notice closely, the shooting animation is not always perfectly facing the target. What I mean is that the bow and the direction your character faces when shooting a bow is slightly off to one side, due to the animation. And because of the fact that the arrow comes from the tip of the bow, it starts off at a slight angle to the side of the target, thus causing this slight issue.
Another possible explanation for this is that the arrow doesn’t actually travel to the body of the target. Instead, it is aimed at the closest solid object that your cursor is aiming at (because player bodies are not solid). So when you think you are aiming at the enemy, you are actually aiming at maybe the wall or tree behind them. This, combined with the animation issue stated above, causes the arrow to miss the target.
This is quite hard to explain. If you don’t understand I can draw a diagram for you.
