Nah, I don’t know how to code

VETEX, PLEASE ADD THESE CHANGES AND MY LIFE IS YOURS!!!

But seriously tho, I’ve gotten my armor pieces broken during dragon fights a couple times already and it GENUINELY sucks ahh. The worst part? Depending on what piece of armor got broken, it may require multiple repair kits to fully repair it. “Immersive” mechanics like these should have never been added to the game.

bro revived an old suggestion :wilted_flower:

only 2 days ago

A suggestion lives for only three, so it is old enough

old in mayfly years

The fact that you need to baby talk some of these to get a point across is hilarious

What’s more hilarious is that the suggestion won’t be read by vetex :broken_heart:

Nah, I trust my chances

same was assumed by like 50 other suggesters, look what happened to them…

I had an experience of cheating the odds on these forums before, therefore I am confident

Lady Luck is one hell of a whore

I feel like water poisoning and the waves should be spared as they are both major threats that work together well.

Other than that PLEASE VETEX I NEED THIS

Could you elaborate? I can’t see how waves and water poisoning does anything together.

Water poisoning forces you to get off the wheel/cannon and makes you vulnurable to waves, i got swept away by the waves a fair amount of times that way, though we have soap now.

There’s not a challenge here, water poisoning is a half-baked RNG value, which at the same time can just be gotten rid of with soap, making it irrelevent.

The waves are too half-baked, you need to use… pain potions to get out of a wave.

Overall, and no offense; I believe you see these as working good together, as you haven’t thought/experienced a better variance, as these are by definition; bad game design.

I believe water poisoning needs some changes but it shouldn’t be outright deleted, there is potential for an interesting mechanic there, also i thought you just need to wait to get off a wave, didn’t know about harming potions getting you out early.

But yeah they are both absolutely half baked but they should be improved not removed.

Water poisoning doesn’t just need an improvement, that won’t fix anything relating to its flaws of being a punishment without a valid cause. It requires either the removal, or a full rework to properly give a cause for its punishment.

Waves are by definition awful in terms of game design, they take the controls of the player away even if you are within a milimeter of them, you can’t escape except by using a likely bug to get out of them, these can be easily improved by implementing the whirlpool “click to escape” functionality.

They aren’t much of a “threat“ than they are an “annoyance“. Water Poisoning just pops up at times, forcing you to open the pouch and click on a soap bar once, then it is gone. These bars are 15 drachma at a tailor’s, therefore you are only in danger, if you don’t know they sell those in the first place.

The waves grabbing you exist to ruin the day of any Dark Sea fisher, or to interfere into your 1v1 against an Atlantean. There are two scenarios where they are a legit threat: when you are sailing with a party and the wave grabs you without them noticing, so the gang sails off without you, or when a kraken shows up, and the wave throws you into its ink.

You know, many people agreed on this one too, so I made a second suggestion following that thought
