a really interesting trope i’ve never really seen used aside from one piece of media is that everyone has a form of ‘magic’ (which is relatively hard to use and varies from person to person) however people are convinced it is hereditary
In this verse most people are naturally inclined towards certain types of techs based on their personality, but with enough practice they can learn anything

Well i havent thought about that much perhaps like reforming persons parts into guns tools stuff,mimicking other beings attributes or physical form and something like swarm of nanobots used to assasinate people or on open fight at first this comes to my mind

one of the districts has a huge military-industrial complex
right now using chemical or biological weapons is just much more effective than expensive nanobots that have a very low probability of succeeding

very high-tech mechanical prosthetics do exist so technically yes to cyborgs
super soldiers also technically exist because techniques involving superhuman strength, durability and speed exist. its not some kind of implant, but something that is learned and trained to perfection
most star empires have a small collection of extremely powerful soldiers that have mastery over a litany of combat and defensive techniques, who are deployed for ground warfare in whats often a literal mechanical exoskeleton
for both its not in the typical way that science fiction probably does it, but yes they do
hardest part of making the map is finding a name for all the filler systems
I’ve been copying the names of stars in the constellations they’re named after but guess what half of them don’t have a single named star in them
