[Concept] Lawless Zones

Just a concept but maybe the community can give some thoughts about it and where it would lead the future of the game?
LAWLESS ZONES
Area’s of the map where there are high concentrations of strong negative rep NPC’s make a coalition force and form a village. They are lead by a mini boss and when defeated the Lawless Zone disperses and the NPC’s simply do their own thing or disappear. (Whatever benefits the latency of the server)

What this brings to WOM
A Lawless Zone is a pseudo town for Negative Rep players to not only buy, forge, and enchant items at but a place to potentially retreat to when things get rough. Positive Rep would be attacked by ANY NPC in a Lawless Zone similar to how the majority of NPC’s within town attack a Negative Rep player immediately.

However this also gives an opportunity for Positive Rep players to take on high ranking quest regarding the coalition forces which surround the area of a Lawless Zone (Apprentice +).

SUMMARY

  • An area where Negative Rep players can flee to and have their town needs met.
  • Gives Positive Rep Players more opportunity to do harder quest while not being stuck in town taking any quest available.
  • Adds to the immersive dynamic of the world

Sounds a bit like the Leaders and Conquerers feature planned in the Trello, so I think this could mesh pretty well with what’s already planned.

I like your idea! I definitely think there should be another group similar to the magic council, but DARK. This could be the resistance of Magic Council and possible take over of the Magic Council. You could plan a full out invasion, aided with the “Dark Council”? hehe. Or, positive players could raid the safe place for dark players (gonna name it darkville) and put a threat to it, similar to when you raid a typical village.
