If silas were a normal citizen in etris or smth, he might be able to survive. If he’s a pathfinder, he’s getting depthsent by a sharko or bandit and then either dying of insanity in the depths or getting jumped by a squibbo

ur question itself is pretty flawed… MC can do whatever they want, including chilling in a village and avoiding all conflict whatsoever. also i think that MC can crumple most anything in deepwoken with their magic (correct me if im wrong, dont know much about deepwoken characters but i know that AO magic is far stronger than deepwoken’s at least)

Unfortunately that’s wrong full potential silias maybe but in their current state and considering their potential personalitys they would die by the hands of the one of the major factions or by the depths the magic system difference in this situation doesn’t matter at all with silias current state

If we assume that Silas just spawns into deepwoken with all of the Arcane Odyssey shit as if he appeared on dawn island. Magic , his lightning, abilities granted by being a legacy, super savant shit so on and so on, then he would probably live a normal life,

assuming that he doesn’t get dragged into Lord Regent’s business (Which he probably will) he would normally get abnormally stronger than any other normal man and kind of have nothing to do from there. He wouldn’t die until Old Age hits and from there, the insanity from the depths would kill him. He wouldn’t quite die to any monster, but despite his weird natural ability to just tank insanity levels that would lobotomize any other guy, he would eventually give in.

If we just assume that we plop Silas in without any arcane odyssey things like “magic” “legacies” and “greek gods” his only advantage would be his unnatural ability to learn things quite fast and that wouldn’t get him very far. Give him a year and he would be wiped.

That is maybe an option, but what happens after he gets out of there? The scenario that i presented was him dying of old age, so even if he gets out of there, wouldn’t he just die again?

Despite the fact that he would be 500 years old, he’d still pack enough punch to do whatever he wants down there so a trial is no problem for someone like him. I’ve heard that we would be stronger than the peacekeeper at the end of our story, said peacekeeper made an entire continent with his power and defeated the world’s greatest evil, although WOM is no longer canonical i can safely assume that the peacekeeper could have still built magius it if he wanted to (He just didnt!)

now combine that with the fact that we are completing the story at around 30 years old at MOST, giving us 470 more years of doing god knows what giving us unmatched strengtth. Even if age degrades us it would still present no problem with just killing the depth’s greatest challenge. Eventually though, after just dying so much and coming back he’d just give up at some point, even the strongest will won’t last forever.

(Also he could just die of a stroke IN the depths itself so that’s kind of it for him)
