To be quite honest, I am very tired of Deltarune. Deltarune is legit only popular because of the fact that its the Undertale IP
Not to mention the fact that it gets updated like once every 14 years. Not even a full game

The chapter feels like an acid trip so far

ok i can understand being tired of it but that is NOT the only reason it’s popular in the slightest
hell, for some people, such as myself, it’s better than undertale
One may argue Deltarune’s initial popularity was greatly contributed to by Undertale, but yeah, Deltarune is definitely its own thing.
While Chapter 1 might’ve been a bit cheesy, Chapter 2 already promises an impactful story.
Just finished my first playthrough.
That was some crazy stuff…
Playing through the chapter, I began to get the feeling that “the inferno of jealousy” would come from Ralsei, and this only strengthened as I went on. There wasn’t really an inferno in the end, though. What’s the deal with that?
I also found the secret boss, but I gave up on it and just went on to the final boss. Pretty sure I’ll be able to access it from my last save point, though.
basically my reaction to ch5 finale:
i genuinely had fun, my eyes flickered red and stuff like that

AND APPARENTLY A FUCKING SIDE B CH7 FOR THE WEIRD ROUTE!?!?!? ch5 weird route entirely skips ch6, so weird route has double the wait
chapter 5 was so peak i didnt drink water for 5 hours
Gerson’s descriptions of the events for all chapters were never literal, and never exactly fit any chapter
so at this rate deltarune is expected to be completed at around 2028-2029
alright someone remind me in 3 years to buy deltarune
