Did Knight get nerfed with Port Mistral, and will Full Release nerf it more?

The answer that people will probably go to is “No, Knight has always been bad.” But before Port Mistral, I saw a lot of Warriors who would switch over to Knight to get the extra HP but still run high power or high substat builds that were actually quite good. After Port Mistral, though, Knights took damage whenever they attacked (if imbued) lost a weapon slot (if they chose to use Eagle’s Patrimony) for 1 fairly weak move. And with Full Release, they lose out on that HP buff and will have even more time choosing which of their weapon slots they want to get rid of. I just wanted to ask the community to see if people agree that Knight is not good and is taking these buffs as nerfs.

They will have multiple other options for spirit weapons now and the spirit rights + more weapon skills alongside a lvl increase to be able to use some of the new skills

Don’t think they are being nerfed in full release, though idk abt port mistral

the amount of damage you take is almost negligible (for me it’s about 16 damage and I have 1.8k hp)
the main reason why you want to use the patrimony is not because it has good moves (it’s only useful for pve), but because it gives a 12.5% damage boost to almost all weapons. sure, you lose out on one weapon slot, but if you choose and build your weapons properly it’s not a big deal.

hell, the reason why I like knight is because it has that one fewer slot. it’s a lot less to keep track of, since realistically you will only have to keep up with 6 skills across 2 tools, compared to warrior’s 9 or conjurer/warlord’s 17 skills.

I believe it was confirmed that on Full release spirit weapons and normal weapons will have seperate equip slots
