What do you guys think about the possible existence of an illness where a person’s body reacts negatively with magic. In other words, magic energy is like poison to them and they start suffering from it at a young age (4-5 years old) and it progressively gets worse. There is a cure, but it’s very radical and may not even fit in with the lore (the cure itself not the sickness)
If this counts as a suggetion then I’m sorry but I’ve been waiting 10 days for a response to my application.
Well every living being has magic energy in them so they would eventually just succumb to said illness
Yea but I have an idea for the closest thing to a cure but idk if it would follow lore or not
If that is true then dying to it is just a cooler way of saying you’re old

You shouldn’t really worry about vetex’s lore, it changes too rapidly to come up with a fanmade concept that is also lore friendly
The cure would be the linking of souls between the afflicted and a healthy person using spirit energy, which would spread the disease to both but reduce the affects to a more benign state.
3 days later all three of Vetex’s personalities will already have completely forgotten that magic exists

More like a bloodborne disease like cancer that slowly weakens you over time until it kills you.
If such a phenomenon existed, i think it would be a rare disease where the magic energy is unstable due to the individuals body not being strong enough or not having enough magic energy compared to their surroundings and thus causing their nervous system to feel immense pressure from external magic energy.
Then again, everyone has magic in them so it prob doesn’t exist
