the story doesn’t work out that way. if we go to level 180 the next update with ch. 10 and such will feel very disappointing when we reach max level way earlier than the end of the story, since level cap is based on story. 175 was deemed an acceptable compromise since it doesnt breach too far into ch. 10’s levels
I never said it was not a fair compromise tho i’m kinda biased since i was planning a savant build so i’ll have to hold off on that for now

Because we’re talking about a feature which only really caters to two builds.
Other stuff that has been a concept since AO’s inception and is also arguably the most anticipated feature is:
- Sensing
- Lost magics
- Lost fighting styles
- Frigate
- Ancient magics
- Ancient fighting styles
So do you think it’s reasonable to demand all of it to be added in Full Release?

So are lost magics but everyone keeps asking about them.
Arcanium weapons can be used by all magic classes but only conjurers/savants get to use them fully.
I wouldn’t call those the singular most anticipated either. Besides, imo, (for some reason) there’s still a disproportionately large hype created around lost and ancient magics, which really isn’t the case for arcanium weapons
That’s probably for the best though, since I doubt it’ll do lost magics any favours when they do come out
because generally, lost magics are available for all magic builds, arcanium weapons for mag/wep builds or conjurers, so it’s limited access affects its hype

Yeah, back in the AA day the higher tier fighting styles were just that, higher tier fighting styles, no specific name.
Fighting styles didn’t really have “tiers.” I think they were all supposed to be useful in some way (definitely didn’t work like that in practice but I assume that was the intent). The closest thing to tiers would be different Strength requirements to learn each style, but base fighting styles in AO have those too and we don’t consider them tiered.
