Yeah, but talk about a poor introduction.

How about I actually propose a solution. Make Piercing allow for things to slip through objects, like how cannon does.
Depending on the base size of a move (not including multipliers of any kind, nor Attack Size), it has a higher ability to slip through a wall, with more size making it harder. Piercing makes objects that go through walls take longer to dissipate. Starting at 0 seconds without any.
Of course, this can’t apply to moves that use the player as a projectile, such as Crash or Flash Strike.

you do know it has the second highest EP amongst boss drops and sunkens right? And it’s has idk, 2 alternative damage focused stats instead of agility and size? Why must it be a direct upgrade in EP to be viable lmao, sunken has 105 on chestpiece and no one’s saying it’s bad.

I mean, as far as I can tell, EP says a lot of things are good when they’re not. And it’s also not updated for the global defense reduction.

vetex isn’t gonna make every single one of the hundred or so armour sets viable in pvp

10 is an amazing amount anyway
in fact, i’d argue 5 lol

either way, not everything new has to be some new meta defining armour
just having more drip options is good

Unless they rework ap fundamentally like intensity its just going to be a bad stat, bad for the game and bad for balancing. :pray: ap rework

the problem isn’t defense as a stat the problem is everyone does so much damage already that if you dont have enough of it you cant win no matter what

I have off-meta builds that run less than 700 defense or less than 80 power and can actually fight pros with them.

And I’d say that I’m only an above average pvper so those main stats being a “requirement” is poop. My acid conj runs 200 AP with 130 Intensity and can still destroy people.

you probably have more substats compared to most to make up for that, meta.
thats the only time you can really get away with it.

Evander’s set is just titanium without modifier compatibility
