I don’t know if I’m stupid or what but I can not find out how to change the equipment on fleet ships. It feels odd that I can’t give my ships Iron cannons from my inventory. Please let me know if I am stupid but if this is not in the game and a suggester sees this please suggest this for me so I can get this out there as soon as possible. I’m not asking to take the equipment from the ships and put it in my ship yard I just want to put the spare equipment from my ship yard onto a fleet ship and have the previously equipped equipment disposed off.
there is no way to equip shipyard equipment onto your fleet ships, they simply have all the equipment the ship had when it was sunk and added to your fleet. I don’t know if there are plans to let you equip your own hulls or cannons onto your fleet, but its mostly redundant since ships never physically spawn making durability the only stat that matters for anything that could be equipped to fleet ships.
imagine the lag caused by 10 8000 follower fleets if they spawned all the boats the sea would be FULL 
I am aware that it would be mostly redundant but future updates could change that and it just feels weird that you can view the equipment but not change it I feel like somethings missing whenever I look at it
players begin to sink the fleet of other players and steal the boat into their own fleets
you are not stupid but the idea that you couldn’t guess that the items can’t be equipped by just messing around with the system is a sign that you have played games for less then 2 years.
I’ve played the game for 185 hours early on to its life time. I can tell what equipment the ship has but its the issue that I cant find the equipment I want on a ship
