The way I see it, it’s a good way to ensure you can’t go back. Logging out is like a recovering addict throwing their syringes into the trash can—it’s not always effective, because they can dig them back out. The better thing to do if you really are trying to quit is to completely dispose of them. Same deal with a social media account.
