Used to be annoyed with how internet cultured changed around after covid but things are getting better.
I think nowadays I usually find it annoying when people start debates without considering that they could be wrong. Recently I debated a guy and I apologized for a mistake I made on my side but the guy wouldn’t budge on his. Kept bringing up the same points or things that I already disproved.
Also liked using the “You wouldn’t know how it is” logic when I only need perception and understanding to get it. Once he couldn’t win a strike on the debate he’d just use points that are essentially insults which really doesn’t work positively in any way. People keep tryna “I am this team and only my team can be right” during debates and it lowkey sucks. What annoys me more is the fact that often these people have someone gassing them up about their talking points and they take them seriously which makes it even more difficult to take points across
Conversation can be so annoying sometimes but I think it’s better then not having a conversation. In the end I kind of gave up on tryna convince the guy. Clearly he didn’t wanna listen to my take anyways.
