the deepwoken developers actually gained a conscience and added an origin for helping new players instead of killing them
the storytelling in deepwoken is way better than the storytelling in ao imo, but they’re both compelling settings. one tells of a vast infinite sea waiting to consume the world above and the other is a story of the consequences of hubris
my one issue with deepwoken lore is how its presented to the player. You kinda have to go out of your way to read books, read weapon descriptions, and talk to every npc you find.

third character i accidentally pressed some justicar thing and this guy came and helped me even tho we couldn’t chat (thx Moji)

unless DW becomes free, i dont see the appeal since u will anyways have to pay to continue to play and honeslty roblox games being behind a paywall is dumb

Deepwoken is a very well-made game compared to Dandy’s World, but I would easily rather spend an hour on Dandy’s World than Deepwoken
