always happy to be of assistance

Well looks like somebody already took that part out, I’ll just add a trivia.

I think if I just had a slightly different thought, I could’ve worked that out myself. I mean, there’s that one candle that’s still lit.
I think it’s interesting though, because that means that the Seekers probably still exist.

to be fair this isn’t ever mentioned or alluded to in the slightest, Occam’s razor would mean that it’d be simpler to believe that this place with a lot of horrible cult activity was created and used by a singular Cult, rather than it being used by multiple groups of people over like a thousand years.

It’d be nice if there was literally any sort of message or indication or anything that could imply that there was multiple groups of people, over hundreds of years.

Maybe have the Priest’s symbol or whatever scraped into the wall in some of the deep parts, then the visigoths having a few banners around the place, maybe one covering up a priest sign, and then seekers of sight banners much closer to the entrance and of higher quality, to show the progression of time? Maybe have ANYTHING in the game that would imply that there was multiple different groups of people occupying the same place centuries apart?

Also, if that brown flag is in the depths that were owned by the Seekers and not the Visigoths, what is it then?

something to do with hades i think

isn’t that the sign of saturn, or some sort of alchemical sign?

ok it looks kind of like mercury

More importantly, it’s on a faction banner, and we only have one faction that seems to have occupied the space.

nah i looked it up its literally the symbol of hades

it symbolises his bident

Because Aether is the god of light, not the god of super-explosive light.

ā€œAetherā€ is just a name. Vetex has been trying to tell us that spirit elements and magic elements have zero correlation.

oh, then it’s presumably those priests that were first mentioned

Hades’ symbol.
Considering that this is called the Abyss of Charon (Charon being the guide to the underworld) and that there is a hole leading somewhere that instinctively repels you, we can assume that it’s a cult of Hades that has to do with an entrance to the underworld.
I’ll find a thread to move this conversation to, so keep your drafts of saved.

it’s also found on the hades sails
and the vatrachos set

But he is also the embodiment of aether.

Kinda, not really

Maybe? It’s not like the other versions are any less different

Does that mean that the Vatrachos set is dark magic? That makes sense…

Yeah, aether. Not Aether Magic. I don’t know why this is hard to grasp when we also have things like the word ā€œauraā€ meaning four completely different things within the same world. Two instances of things being called ā€œAetherā€ can be totally unrelated.

looks pretty similar
it is a bit more simple version, but you can sea it’s roughly the same

I mean, true, but I’d expect it to then have aether-based synergies, rather than Aether Magic synergies, if we expect those to be different in the first place.

It will probably have light synergies, since that’s the actual element. Aether is just the name of the god who blessed it.

what do you mean ā€œaether based synergiesā€
