Gathering opinions for a massive Dark Sea suggestion

and don’t forget even the T2 dragons are way above our current level thus the insane damage

Yeah, but here’s the complaint most players will agree upon: why adding something in the first place, if you aren’t meant to interact with it yet? Kinda dumb

For the challenge ig?

I’ve at least managed to solo my way up to T3 all first try, and then take 4-6 attempts at the T4 powerful dragons before winning (and now I’ll prob wait for the next level cap increase before attempting the next tier of dragon)

My idea would be to make these trees specifically gives supplies when destroyed by players and make them drop more supplies than they currently do, other options to make them more worthwhile would be dark sea treehouses, I get that this sounds silly but what if there was a chance to spawn an indestructible tree with balconies and platforms all around it with the chance for Atlanteans to spawn there, potentially even sirens as well.

It’s just more fun that way.
The options are to have something that you aren’t intended to fight yet but still can, or just limiting it to only things that we are intended to be able to fight. There’s no downside to adding the higher tier dragons now other than some development time that would have been in a different update anyway. It would be a bit more of an underwhelming update if we only got about 2 tiers of dragons. It’s not like you need to fight them anyway, it’s entirely up to you if you want to fight the ones above your level.
Besides, it’s a challenge. People love challenges.

I don’t much info or opinions to share.
_I think tornadoes should have a start up animation and sound to alert.
_Water poisoning is a lame way to showcase the dark seas effect on health.
_Waves…I HATE the waves, 90% of my deaths in the dark sea were caused because of getting carried away by one while trying to bathe. They carry for a ridiculous amount of time and distance. ATLEAST give them the minigame thing whirlpools get so that you can save yourself.
We are strong enough to cut tsunamies in half this shouldn’t be a life or death senario

So, siren rocks v2? Might be worth it, but I ain’t certain.

Reasonable. Accepted.

The link to the suggestion is above.

First, check the link to the suggestion above, I removed their grab entirely. Second, if you need a band-aid fix, just make a bunch of tier 1 harming vials and store them in a pouch. Taking any damage will free you from a wave.

I personally think the new border rifts are so filled with holes they arent even rifts, all we needed was like 2 or 3 extra entrances per rift complex

Only sometimes works, although that might just be my lag (I still get insane lag in the Dark Sea even post-optimization, I play on an old-ish cheap Macbook though so that’s to be expected)

you can get Athena page from dragon’s den (from young dragon on randomly dark sea generate d island to dragon on dragoncliff

the young one gives a single page, while adolescent and above give 2 pages on their unique structure

the dragon update made the athena page grind a bit better even though there were more pages added (simply by having a guaranteed/reliable source protected by a fun boss)

Yeah but ngl some of the other points are nitpicky

I wish these stayed broken same with whirlpools instead of vetex fixing them in dragons. I think they’ll have satyrs in the future? I know it’s been confirmed that they’ll drop spirit weapons

Well for the adolescent and above, some biomes seem to not give two.
For example, if you find one in the biome where there are no trees and it’s just stone, there will not be 2 notes, and instead none.
I think one of the biomes only spawns one as well.
I think it’s a bug but it’s a strange one.

And? Who cares? They are here for lore purposes now, and aren’t hindering players, leave the rifts be.

I know, but I still consider Siren Rocks to be the primary source. If you think that giving the pages an another source was enough to make the grind of all 29 notes reasonable, then alright - problem solved.

Aight, the notes are no longer an issue.

Yeah, they are, but I had to list everything Dark Sea-related.

Not in Dragons, in Full Release.

Satyrs will just spawn on regular forest islands, and they will drop Pan-blessed relics in the form of sticks and staffs. They have no connection to the sunken forests.

I have an idea to remove the issue of rifts

restore them to how they looked before, but have them sink into the sea or something when near the 1st range so you can get past them

But why? The rifts are no longer an issue. Besides, their current form looks much more logical, the erosion had bigger chances to form them like this, than in a shape of a wall.

If it ain’t broken, why fixing it?

So vetex can make it so when you enter i1, you are faced with a huge line of the tsunami-sized waves that occasionally roll across the seas and wreck your ship for no good reason

Speaking of those, I haven’t really seen them recently…
