Now that pvp is becoming more and more prominent, being an ice user feels really underpowered, it’s very slow but unlike other slow magics it doesn’t have that extra bit of damage necessary to make it viable in actual pvp. I know its good when used with wind, snow, or water but by itself its kinda bad. For example, as seen in meta’s magic guide, ice does 0.9x of average dmg. When compared to light, the literal fastest attacking magic in game, it does 0.85x , only 5% less. It kinda doesn’t make sense that getting hit with a chunk of ice will do barely more dmg than getting hit by light or by a shadow (which actually does 5% MORE than ice). Personally, I think it should do slightly more than average, like 1.05x. I think clashrates make sense though. What ya’ll think?

i think ice is one of those double edged blade magics, when you actually manage to inflict that 5 second long freeze it’s extremely powerful and rewarding, but at the same time you have to deal with its slow magic speed and garbage clash rates so yeah I guess it could use some sort of rebalancing

Yeah, I don’t think the clashrates need rebalancing just the damage, because it looks like it would do a ton of dmg but does the literal same amount of damage as paper or glass, two magics that also apply bleed fairly consistently and are much faster.
