So. Durza has been defeated. The entire world is at chaos.
CO or Chosen One is attempting to escape the chaos by sailing outwards. His sailboat is slightly damaged but he didn’t think much of it at the time… He then realized what the entire seven seas is going through and decides to head far away from the seven seas. He is unknown whether or not he’ll have to live in his boat for the rest of his life… As he sails farther away he begins to see what he thought was “A very dark night” This “night.” Was far from described. Unknown to CO. He had entered the dark sea. As he turned around he was unable to see any land. It was all just a giant area of sea. As he sailed further into the dark sea. He began to see storms. He immediately went down into the cabin for shelter. Knowing the dangers of such a sea… Thunder and Lightning, Hurricanes, Tornadoes and more hit his boat He laid in the cabin wondering if it will ever end… Blasts and explosions of magic were surrounding him… Many hours later. He stopped hearing the destruction. He looked outside of his cabin and saw nothing but grey fog surrounding him. He started looking at his surroundings. And then as he saw it… His face went from a relieved grin to a horrified stare… A giant wave. Standing up to almost half a kilometer tall headed towards him. It was a wave consisting of pure magic energy. It destroyed everything in it’s path. And as he tried to find away to hide… It was already too late… The wave crashed into the boat. Absorbing it near instantly. Normally. CO would’ve died instantly from the force of such a wave… But a miracle happened in it’s way… 5 Lost souls protected his body mind and soul from the blow. It simply struck him down. The lost souls were… The Aether soul of justice The Empty Soul of the man who lost his mind The Explosive Soul of a Fallen Warrior The Burning Soul of a Demon And The Omnipotent soul of the lost king
As CO began to fall unconscious… It was fiercely struck by an alpha white eyes carried away from the wave that hit him. Blasting him away. And sweeping him out of the dark sea… Only to open his eyes at a lost man looking for help.
giant magical storms/tsunamis/etc would of prevented this,
ESPECIALLY considering the seven seas and probably the surrounding areas were probably extra fucked over
dark sea would of been even more dangerous than normal
this part is just stupid and boring
theres no way some random kid in a sailboat could sail across the entire dark sea (literally across the entire world) in the span of a month
(AO takes place a month after the big peacekeeper vs durza battle)
while sure you would totally get completely fucked over trying to sail across the world as it was
theres literally no way you could make it all the way to the war seas,
especially unintentionally
to put this in perspective, the world record for sailing across the world in a sailboat is about 42 days on one of these super high speed fuckers

if gods/curse users can’t traverse the dark seas then some random kid ain’t gonna cut it
the ending especially just… sucks, frankly.

In other news. Local asshole destroys a mans confidence to write and writes it off as constructive criticism. well they were just like uncharted oceans are dangerous in our world but stuff can also get more durable in the arcane universe and it basically needs to be to survive all the stuff that happens in the magic polluted ocean. Boats in AA aren’t that fast but they still took the PK from the first to the 7th sea in less than a year with interruptions. The main reason was nobody cared enough who was also good enough to try to circumnavigate the globe
We can also make the argument that the arcane world is exponentially more smaller than our world.
Seeing as how the seven seas represent our own seven seas. The fact a man in a giant boat can sail from the first sea to the seventh in less than an hour is a bit unrealistic anyways
unpredictable weather patterns,
unknown currents, massive storms,
magical pollution everywhere, giant monsters like whiteeyes,
incredibly unpredictable and random weather,
the dark sea is nightmarish bro
its not that people are just “too weak” or something, its that its literally a deathtrap
thats in the seas, using charted routes, and still almost getting fucked over

It’s not supposed to be unique that the PK did this. Cursebeard was in the 3rd sea and got to the 7th sea before theos could hear he had left. Verdies got beaten in the 1st sea and shows up in the 5th sea later

but it’s been done before so idk what to say. I don’t think any irl boat could go through the dark seas but it might be possible in the arcane universe where things are magical and everything
