idk if this is happening for anyone else but me and my friends no longer get notifications whenever someone hearts a post

No. I dont think id lie about something like that to get 2 likes

but its resolved now, i noticed they returned last night

There is a setting for it, it’s Preferences > Notifications > Notify when liked.
The default is “When first liked and daily”, so you may be getting more likes on a post within the same day, and not getting notified, which is intended.
You can change the setting if you want to be notified of every like.
