Hey everyone
I’m a mage main and a huge fan of water magic, especially when it comes to building lore-heavy characters. Character creation is honestly my favorite part of Arcane Odyssey. I’ve got 9 slots available, and over time I’ve had 14 different characters reach max level.
I tend to get bored once a character’s story feels “complete,” so I usually store all my gear and wipe the slot to start fresh with a new concept. Because of that, I don’t always make insane money progression wise, but I make up for it by being a big-time trader, especially now that the fleet system is in full release. Fleets were easily one of my favourite additions to the game.
If I could use any Arcane Odyssey magic IRL, it’d definitely be wind or water… maybe ash too, depending on the day.

i actually just deleted all of my ocs in ao. I usually do this as i said but i wanted to start fresh with a new ‘cast’ of characters. so far i have Bjorn Lionheardt, a level one future earth or gold mage. Solomon Caesar my new main slot, a light and shadow mage. Columbus Sunrise, a max level wind and ash storm/ruin mage (my strongest slot and my money maker) and then we have Casper Winchester, a shadow and light mage from the brotherhood of balance and so far the only character that has done the entire main story.
I prefer to keep my oc’s ‘alive’ so to say, I like their stories (even thought writing isn’t the best) so I keep them around for memories and as a reminder of what I’m proud of
That’s also why currently I only have 4 (despite my 2.5 years of playing ao)
Right now I have
Mike Arrow (‘main’ file, follows the ‘canon’ storyline because he was my first oc and I had no creativity)
Hannah Moonsilver (second file, centered around being a wanted criminal who fled into the dark sea)
Victoria Blossom (third file, fanonically the adopted child of Amelia because her real parents were assasinated)
Isaac Banks (the one who’s lore I’ve ‘least’ developed, pretty much a personification of my WoM file and the adventures I had pre TGR)
