That anti-vac propaganda is bullshit, “Oh it gives you autism” my ass.
Well, I have no power to do anything about it and nothing really happens in the place I live in. All that stuff is pretty much dependent on your location.
not really overreacting. but it’s whatever.
lotta people out there with a hell of a lot more to lose from this than me, so i’ve got no incentive to do shit, personally.
but the fact of the matter is, there are consequences to threatening people’s livelihoods.
he can go ahead and sign that bill, for all i care. it’ll look great in hindsight when he’s inevitably greeted by some poor fuck with nothing left to lose.
it’ll all sort itself out.
i think we should all listen to whatever @wesree has to say

ive been going to shit lately

Yeah, it can definitely be scary and uncertain, and there’s not really much I can say to comfort you, since I can’t see the future. Also I just wanted to drop this in here: I know a lot of you have strong feelings about the current events happening, but please remember to be respectful of other people, even if you don’t agree with their opinions. Anyway, all I can really offer right now is that we try to stay positive and hope we can get through this rough stretch relatively unharmed.
Autistic person here, autism is cool anyway so even if it did that it’d still be stupid
Also tf since when were America targeting autistic people now
Google en passant “us autism registry”
Absolutely not just you. I haven’t said anything political on the forum because I assume its generally against the rules, but I am more pissed off about the socio-economic and political climate than I have ever been in my life.
It’s just a FACT at this point that our president is mirroring H*tler’s rise to power in 1933 Germany. Historians will explain it better than I can but the signs are practically punching us in the face. And on top of that, there’s also the death of the middle class, and we’re willingly sacrificing our future and more to the top 1% just so we can get our taxes a little lower.
I think a utopian future is completely impossible. BEST CASE SCENARIO, and I mean thats a REALLY GOOD CASE, would be Aldous Huxley’s Brave New World. And even that kind of dystopia is a far-reach because the world leaders in that universe aren’t inherently oppressive or power hungry. We’re more likely to end up with a 1984.
“The Party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command.”
It’s the classic totalitarian move, promote the yes men, remove the undesirables, create a country divided by hate that was fine in the first place to make you seem better. It’s just the classic shit.
100%. “So this is how liberty dies, with thundering applause”
The simpsons couldn’t have predicted it better.
Kind of an enlightening thread, practically everyone on the forums hates the U.S. right now.
Yup, the reverence for my country is just about gone on this Fourth of July ![]()
