I remember a mix of online friends and randoms across the years on Discord have DMed me/asked me for help in promoting them.
For example, I remember this one.
I don’t think promoting paid artists on a forum for children is a great idea. The best option would probably be some subreddit for that kind of promo. The best thing they can do is offer to draw stuff for cheap so they get a reputation, and when they start getting more commissions they should gradually raise the prices. Art for artists is not just a hobby but a business which they gotta treat like a proper one.
is it because of the nsfw risk or scammer risk or smth else
both + not as many children will have the money to actually pay an artist compared to actual adults
Basically: Promoting an artist to people that probably can’t pay
