I’m still picking White Eyes though, more aura + it can swim. Both are able to fly, so that isn’t a loss

Okay so to clarify and change things to be hopefully a bit more balenced, the dragon is an adolescent, while the white eyes is a giant one, both can travel large distances, and you can use their attacks, they can also guard you and/or your ship.

Yes, and the white eyes could in theory tank and deal a lot of damage to both enemies and boats, the dragon I’m not too sure about since I’ve never seen it attack a boat before.

white eyes are glass cannons, dragons are glass uhh guns? idk they’re frail and weak
I mean, most npcs can’t really target a white eyes, and cannons do barely anything against them, where as dragons could be attacked with any ranged or melee attack, but the white eyes has the advantage of being in the water which helps counter certain magics.
