  • If you play the game long enough to the point your character reaches age 80 or so, they have a chance of randomly getting a permanent disease. The more you play and the more intensive activities you do, the worse it gets. Eventually you’re too weak to do anything and you pass away the next time you log into that file.

  • Your file will have a funeral service where Iris, Morden, Neviro, your deckhands, etc will attend and talk about how good (or shitty) of a person you were, before burying you at sea. The file is deleted and gone forever.

  • All the items that file had is turned into an AA style legendary treasure chart that anyone can get through rng in the loot table, which upon obtainment will then alert every player in game to the holder’s location. Upon entering the game there will be a notification telling you which player successfully got your entire inventory. In short your items are fucked lol.

  • You also get cancer in real life from the big man V himself.

not immersive enough, lots of magic leads you to aging slower to you can live for a few extra hundred years, near 1000 if you were among the strongest of mages (our level 175 ah might live to around 200-300 or so, longer if we keep leveling up)

It would work as an alternative not gonna lie, since Vetex’s lore is that you can basically do anything with magic as long as you have the intent. Pretty much you can have a magic brain to replace it, though your main problem now would be anti-magic items such as Grand Navy’s cuffs.

Taking any form of damage now releases an electric shock from your computer into your nervous system so that you actually feel the pain your character is experiencing in real life
