I know that it was changed to a lost, but now it’s ancient again according to the wiki?
If I missed something, please tell me.
You missed the "Wiki is filled with misinformation” lore update.
An example of this update is the fact that the page states there are four Grand Fire Curses when only 3 are not retconned currently
As an occasional editor of the wiki
Everyone is on hard crack over here. Also nobody knows what the phrase “citation needed” means (I’m probably also guilty but to a much lesser extent). This wiki is probably the most inaccurate but we can’t even find out if it’s truly inaccurate because nobody bothers to put sources for their information. Truly taking “my source is that I made it the hell up” to heart.
ah, got it
We know as fact that Dragons only able to use Lost magics and Customs.
All of the shown magics that they use are Lost - Gravity, Regulus, Rupture, Slash, Darkness, and yes, Inferno.
It got seemingly demoted just like Aether
Aether was an ancient?
as a moderator and occasional editor of the wiki, i can confirm ts ![]()

See this is the exact bullshit that plagues the forums.
Everyone thinks every wikian automatically takes the duty to meticulously check every bit of information and update pages 0.0000000000000000000000001 second after updates drop.
The wiki is community-driven. Everyone’s complaining how it sucks, but nobody wants to lift a finger and use the big blue EDIT button when they find mistakes. It’s everyone just waiting for someone else to do something.
Also… @Crimsonpants
I’ve never said anything bad about the wiki, but the first second I see wiki members saying the wiki isn’t viable, do you really think it’s rational to have a positive opinion?
I’m not an idiot. I know the wiki is FANDOM and not run by bots, I think you exaggerated a bit in what I said, buddy. It’s a storm in a teacup; I don’t even know everything that happens there, and I’m really not interested. I appreciate the efforts of those who try to make it a better place.
Tell me what you think that means exactly
Since we are all different people, we live in different cultures and contexts with different life experiences, and are generally driven by a culture that doesn’t care about the real meaning of words, besides English being a language generally poor in emotions.
I said “safe” as in a place that’s not very viable, not as if it were completely garbage. Much of what I know I learned from the wiki and I still use it in the game today in a 100% safe way; I didn’t say it’s a bad place. Imagine seeing the priest saying the church is bad; obviously, it causes an uncomfortable feeling.
… The word you’re looking for is good or decent.
Saying it’s not safe suggests wikians are waiting for people to join, grabbing their IPs, and then their kidneys.
Okay then, I’ve already edited my text, now we can leave this alone.
Regarding the topic:
Ancient and Lost are still so confusing.
I don’t want to give a bad impression of the wiki. It is viable regarding most things but if a lot of people are confused about something (such as Inferno Magic’s classification) it might be wrong as those are the same people editing the wiki. If I had to guess, based on Vetex’s statment regarding dragons only using lost magics at the moment, Inferno was probably downgraded.
Crimsonpants made a thread about it, I might look for it, but basically vetex was confused af when people asked him if inferno was lost.
Yo that slice god mutation kind of looking a little yummalicious fr gang yo haha…
