Some people would say “no” - as there is a lot of flaws and “junk” in the update which is annoying.
I finally managed to play it due to multiple problems in my country which are in fact not even solved yet, but I managed to temporarily allow me to use Roblox (Although it crashes sometimes and its annoying)
So! Now it’s my time to rate the full release.
Storyline
From what I have seen… The storyline is kind of lacking. However, it’s actually better than most Roblox games’ storylines and it’s actually readable! It doesn’t use slangs of Gen Alpha children and it doesn’t overcomplicate stuff that much. It still does leave some questions unanswered yet which is good! It allows players to make theories about stuff, however there are general mistakes Vetex did as a writer - he didn’t really allow us to go deeper into the Skyhall atmosphere. And not only that - but the assault on the Fenrir as well. Vetex could extend the story a little bit, allow us to explore more of Skyhall and stuff, and he actually had a lot of potential since Allanon and Callahan actually showed us some small parts of Windcrest and Ivoris. But… That’s it? I can bet more than a half of players while playing the storyline just never explored any nimbus sea island except for the Library of Aneignos, Ivoris and Windcrest respectively. Hell, they could even not complete the exploration tasks for them! Skyhall just DOES NOT have that atmosphere, I didn’t get even slightly interested into exploring the islands… Although thats probably because I play on low graphics, but I have no choice either because if I do play at high graphics my FPS suddenly drops to 10, Vetex pls optimise your game ![]()
Anyways, Skyhall really feels empty. The Castle of Ivoris does too. There’s quite nothing holding the player onto it except for the fact that those are sky islands, but then you suddenly realize there’s not much spots to make a camp to respawn on for less risk. Furthermore, there aren’t much interesting surrounding the islands either - there aren’t stormclouds or big evil intimidating yellow orbs there (idfk where did I get that from) and there isn’t ANY claimable sky islands. So, what’s really the point of exploring Skyhall? I don’t know. Maybe Vetex will answer?
Same goes for the assault on the Fenrir. Yes, you get the feeling that you’re assaulting a big ship of vikings… But.. I mean, it’s not enough. In the first part you need to somehow defeat 3 patrol ships surrounding the Fenrir - and it makes sense for Keraxe to not get alerted, because the humble General Akeem with the purple (best color) Storm Curse made everything so dark that Keraxe cant see a thing! Uhh… Why do we see anything, then? The stormcloud he created is big enough, well, at least it should be, to make Keraxe on the fenrir practically blind. It should have been much darker.
Later then, we fight a whole ass legion of Keraxe vikings, which conveniently respawns for you to finish them off again again. Honestly its just funny considering the fighting is so intense literally the whole terrain is destroyed and they still appear out of nowhere. Them vikings apparently find teleportation a much more economic way to travel to the battlefield and death, I guess.
Either way it just does not feel like it. Vetex should rework the entire part of this story.
After that we invade the Fenrir itself and… Not much interesting, before you encounter the General Argos on steroids - Jarl Ivar! And honestly the cutscene… Was okay. It wasn’t utter bullshit and it felt actually atmospheric. I don’t know who made it but the guy should get an appraisal.
Either way we beat the general Argos on steroids and leave the fenrir because GOD IS COMING.
And… End of story.
Yeah.
Bosses
New bosses are cool! And minibosses as well!
Uhhh… No.
Okay, most minibosses SUCK. They have no special attacks (Except for Leviathan) and they stink. Most of them are bugged as well.
The bosses like Caesar or Allanon are far better however - and it’s good! But still, there are MAJOR flaws in their bossfights - Caesar has a boring pattern of attacks (Although I still found him incredibly fun), Allanon is just pure agonizing bullshit
There is however a certain Boss who is, in my opinion, really well made. That is the Argos on steroids - Jarl Ivar. Although his attacks take the entire arena, they are really unique and incredibly fun. My only problem with him is that he has that one AoE nuke that takes half of your HP and makes you lose a limb unless you parry, but other than that - Jarl Ivar is a well made Boss, and probably the best one out of them all.
Other…
I’ll shorten it right here - the full release added shit ton of new content like Relics which were waited and were necessary… And some unnecesary ones. What’s the entire point of pouches or other stuff is still unanswered to me, and I will probably never work well with those additions because they are god damn slow and uncomfortable to use. Maybe that’s just me.
Overall? I think Full Release was worth it. Yes, it has a LOT of flaws but Vetex is a human too, he should just fix those flaws next update or add more useful additions to compromise that.
My rating: 7/10
