I got all my jumped and all my loot got stolen when I left. Do people really wait for others to leave the dark sea before killing them? How is this fun? Or was my case just a special one. Also if u can’t tell I havent played this game in a while
Okay so when you’re at the Dark Sea border, you usually see nothing because the events and islands only load once someone is in the Dark Sea. Now if someone was returning to the Bronze Sea and was generating events around, what do you think would happen? In short, you will stick out like a sore thumb and everyone will know that there’s a player in that general area.
A lot of Dark Sea ganks usually happen just because someone was near the map edge and saw events flaring up wildly. More rarely, you have groups like Noble who intentionally camp servers and wait for someone to leave so they can murder them.
Not really. I always go West Side Dark Sea, then travel up north to Thorin’s Refuge to avoid getting ganked. You know you’re going north when the Dark Sea Compass Tip is pointing East. Havent got ganked doing that
I also scout the server before entering just in case. I would recommend trying to find a low population server but the server browser is really inconsistent rn and full of unjoinable servers
you are definitely more likely to get ganked if you go east
safest place is like north but thats a long trip
if you go east, yeah probably, if you go west 50/50, north you probably aint ever getting ganked, same applies to south for now
Answering to your question: Yes it is normal to get absolutely murdered after leaving the dark sea. Why? Go ask testers, mods, pvp enjoyers or Vetex himself, I guess the answer will be the same.
Tired? Get some rest and come back to the grind with the new tactics that others mentioned.
Guess I’ll just make a suggestion and let people bicker about this in that
Aight so, here it is:
Pretty much it’s giving you an invisibility cloak so you can just sail alongside the wall if you want and get out somewhere else whilst avoiding being followed. Regardless of whether or not you want to take this precaution is up to you, and this is assuming the suggestion itself is implemented.
is it normal to just killed when leaving yes
is common no most of the time no
