Most gods are dead or dying, but shards of their power remain, could you theoretically create a new curse if you gathered enough of their power?
You’d need to gain dominion over magic from Prometheus… so no lmao.
Prometheus’ soul is still probably out there somewhere. I feel like restoring him (IIRC it’s possible for gods to come back to life through amassing energy over time) would be the only real way of creating another Curse.
the only things gods other than prometheus could make are blessings, so no.
as for actually using their powers to create blessings or curses i doubt it’d be possible. the closest we have so far in lore is using hecate shards to mutate magics

I’d guess not. Even if you found enough of these shards of their power, you’d have to be able to utilize them on the scale, the level of control that was needed to make the original Curses. From what I am reading, it was only Prometheus that created the Curses. I don’t know if creating Curses was something any of the gods could do, so it may require Prometheus specifically. If I recall correctly, the gods can’t permanently die, and they can be restored.
But I do think that the Order would try to create their own Curses. It’d probably be a poor imitation of one, though.
Vetex said it was possible via smashing them together under extreme forces, proved by him saying that with in context to cursebeard.
But since getting two curses together is practically impossible on its own, might as well not exist.
Depends if Hades can pull it off or not but aside that only gods can create curses
prometheus stole the dominion over magic from hecate and since he’s gone then it’s probably impossible unless vetex drops some crazy relevant lore revelation we’ve never heard of before

yes but it wouldnt be easy
as others have said, prometheus is the only god that can create a curse, and to bring him back youd have to do 1 of 2 things according to the book of athena
- either mass prayer towards prometheus which will give him enough energy to restore his physical form
- prometheus possesses a host with a large quantity of magic energy and the host allows prometheus to siphon off their energy in order to restore his form
until his form is restored, as athena states, he can only control very minor aspects of his domain, whereas we know creating the curses was a very high level utilization of the domain of magic that prometheus stole from hecate.
this is moreso a headcanon, but if you could convince the aberration to grant you the power to steal a gods domain like prometheus did to hecate, then you could possibly steal the domain of magic from prometheus and create curses yourself
(assuming the unknown entity is the aberration which it likely is)
