Lets go
Okay you already read description soo lets do it.
Acid
Both Fire and Flare deals 25% more damage if the target is corroding.
Water
Both Fire and Flare:
- Delete puddles on contact, but Flare only deals -5% damage on soaked targets, rather than Fire, who deals -10% damage on soaked targets.
Fire
Both Fire and Flare:
- Removes the Bleeding status effect and deals 10% more damage
- Turns into steam when it comes into contact with the sea
- Cannot be used when underwater
- Creates a flash of light when clashing with itself.
But, Flare:
- Deals 20% more damage if the target is sweating from high temperatures, while fire deals only 15% more damage.
- Removes the Bleeding status effect and deals 10% more damage, while fire deals only 5% more damage.
- And Flare gives the Singed status effect which deals low damage over time for 10 seconds, but can be stacked with itself.
Soo basicly stackable burning effect
Ice
Both Fire and Flare:
- Removes the Freezing status effect and deals 10% less damage.
- Deals 10% less damage if the target is frozen.
Magma
While Flare magic deals 30% more damage if the target is melting, fire deals only 25% more damage.
Poison
Both Fire and Flare:
- Creates an explosion when clashing.
- Causes poisonous clouds to ignite on contact, which changes their damage owner to the Fire caster and gives the cloud fiery particles.
But somehow only Fire deals 15% more damage if the target is poisoned.
Plasma
While Flare magic deals 25% more damage if the target is scorched, while Fire deals only 30% more damage.
Sand
Both Fire and Flare deals 20% less damage if the target is sandy.
Snow
Both Fire and Flare removes the Snowy status effect.
Explosion
While Flare magic removes the charred status effect and deals 15% more damage, while Fire deals 20% more damage and petrifies the target
Ash
While Flare magic removes the petrified status effect and deals 35% more damage, while Fire just deals 20% more damage.
Some thoughts
Holy crap first lost magic is being added! And its magic that (maybe) second boss will use!
And as said on trello…
“Flare Magic - Magic focused on AOE and DOT damage rather than base damage, resembling solar flares.”
…So its cool seeing another heat-based magic in this…wet…cold…world, full of water.
Soo ye cool lost maigc btw.
Why it named as Flare magic and not Solar magic if it “resemble Solar flares”, and why Sun magic uses fucking radiation, why we cant just call it Nuclear magic!?
