Widen the range for the hero/villain titles
So, in the early game you choose to be a hero or villain. Pretty quickly you become a villain/hero after reaching more than 600 bounty/renown, and you stay with that title. (Unless you become smth else, e.g. gravy or ass.)
My proposal is to widen this gap, so:
the neutral boundaries are now 1,000 bounty/renown,
friendly/lawbreaker becomes 5,000 bounty/renown,
criminal/protector is 10,000 bounty/renown and
Hero/Villain is 20,000 renown/bounty.
These ranges could probably be optimised, but I think these would work.
The aim of this is to make the titles seem more like an achievement, not something you get in half an hour and stop paying attention to.
I’m not sure how this would affect the planned bounty/renown effects in relation to NPCs, but it shouldn’t change it too much - it may even make it better.
Yeah I’d love this so much. Ik that the leaderboard stuff is supposed to be the renown title rewards, but it would be a lot cooler if the regular, pve attainable renown titles had more accomplishment to them. And maybe add some more.
I like the idea, allows for new players to breathe for a bit without being thrown into being a villain or hero. Obviously Adjustments would have to be made to fit the game better according to the developers visions.
100% agree myself. Might slightly be breaking the rules for you to suggest this but at the same time it’s definitely a good change to make. Not much sense in having renown tiers if you can gain them so fast.
