I just realized. This thing’s skull is extremely similar to a snake’s. I want to imagine it swallowing a creature whole which is as large as its head or larger.

it’s actually more based on a spinosaur’s, with the pelican-like expanding neck pouch also being taken from some speculations. the detaching mandibles is a little bit from snakes, but mostly from a fictional species of dragon called Ahamkara
