Has vetex ever explained why lost and ancient magics are stronger than the base magics?
I’d assume it’s because whoever invented them wanted them decided so, but that just brings into question why lesser losts become lesser.
While we’re asking questions, how are they “lost”? Anyone can use them.
People just started to be born with them more and more often, thats why
Just because you’re born with it means it becomes lesser in quality? That’s less of an explanation than why losts are strong in the first place.
Does that mean if I unlock a base magic later in life then it’d be lost quality? Obviously not, as awakenings show.
Did not said it had to be that way, but vetex made it that way, so thats it. Gotta ask vetex about that one if you want to know why, bc I got no anwsers besides “bc vetex”
You’re here trying to get answers and so am I, don’t go dismissing mine.

i had a stroke reading these last few replies
i think it would be because strong magics are harder to learn because they are more complex (like pheonix) but arent necesarily strong bey default, warren and wotan have been around around the same amount of time and wotan has a base magic curse vs warren having a grandfire curse however they still aroun d the same str
