This is a dumb idea, but it think that the magic/curse scrolls in future that give a new magic should be untradeable as it could ruin the experience where some random noob obtains the Promethean fire scroll from a trade and i think it would get more people into playing as they would go scroll hunting. I also think this should apply to titles, where they should be earned. Also, it would be cool when either raiding a boss or a miniboss, a random scroll could appear in their area which despawns after 10 mins after their death with a 1/40 chance of spawning (only lost magic scrolls).

But at the same time if you have a scroll that you don’t want and others have a scroll that you do want wouldn’t you want to be able to trade those scrolls?
I get where you’re coming from with the no trading, but like crazydud3 said it helps when you want to trade scrolls and I believe they’ll be too rare for someone to just gift out to a new player. Most likely the feature of trading scrolls will add a lot to the economy of the game.

I kinda agree tbh, I think making them tradable would just make them much easier to get. But then on the other hand what to do you suggest should be done if you get a scroll you don’t want?
I’m not too sure, so don’t quote me on this, but I think you might need to be a certain level before you can even use the scrolls. If this is true then you don’t need to worry about some level 1 noob with the power of a god.

Nah. You should be able to trade scrolls, especially considering how rare they’re gonna be. Titles on the other hand, should not be trade-able. Those should be personal achievements you can put on display rather than use as currency.

Lost Magic scrolls shouldn’t be traded and should be unique to a person imo. Simply because the spells themselves will be devalued by the community the moment they are easily accessed. Anything achieved through someone’s personal exploits shouldn’t be monetized.
But they wont be easily accessed because how often are people going to be trading lost magic scrolls for items or giving them away. They really wont be trading them for items, most likely magic scrolls would be traded for other magic scrolls so that people could have the ones they want. Which means they still wouldn’t be easily accessible to anyone.

There might even be a precaution to make sure that new players can’t use a scroll, as maybe you need to be of a certain level to withstand inscribing yourself with it, for example, you would take 1.5k damage over a period of time and will be unable to move while attempting to inscribe yourself with your scroll of choice. You would obtain the magic if you survive this. People who are too low level would not be able to survive such damage, (also, this hp number is by no means accurate, just an example). A low level player may still be able to get a scroll in this case, but using it might be a different story.

lol true but still, noob or not i believe that it aint right just being able to trade scrolls, its a bit of my opinion which is a bit stupid but maybe lost scrolls should be tradeable.

Honestly you’re an idiot if you trade away the primordial scrolls for items(unless you’re trading magic scrolls for magic scrolls in which case that would make sense). Vetex stated that they will be equal to the chances to get a legendary chart in AA which had disgustingly low chances to spawn ._.
I get where your coming from but think about it like this, its only a matter of time when the game is fully complete for a player to hit max level gather the strongest weapons and achieve everything they have, what then? They have a lot of items in their inventory to play with or give away, maybe to their friends. There will be people who no longer need trading.
doubt u can even trade title scrolls even now, plus i really really doubt players under the required level will be able to use lost/primordial magic.
Auctions are coming to Wom so how about using that instead of normal trading
Now hear me out here, how about, you cant receive a lost magic scroll from a trade unless your level is in the hundreds and primordial only in the thousands.
