As a game mechanic this is bad, as a joke this is funny. But something like a deckhand labor market might work in the game.

…but they still have stats tho? like you realise that, at the end of the day, they do the same stuff as they always did on ships + a profession ability. the obtainment and upgrade methods changed, and they have professions, but its still building on the same base of stats that buff your ship

i am definitely not a renown farmer i’ve barely scraped 300k LOL
i strongly disagree with the changes vetex has planned though in obtainment/levelling, not because i have grinded but because it makes deckhands trivial
