Shouldn’t have to explain myself, right now you pay 300 robux (3 dollars) for 10 hours of access, which first of all is fucking insane. If that price was directly translated into a subscription it would cost around 21900 robux a month, which is $219!

So instead, it should just be another subscription like the 3 we’re getting in full release, either payable with USD or just robux itself (I know the first 3 are USD but robux may sell better because of traders/developers/anybody who gets a lot of robux) and it just gives 24/7 access to the server so everybody can join it whenever they want.

Not going to throw any prices around because that’s entirely vetex’s decision, but I think maybe it shouldn’t be 219 dollars a month..

I didn’t know Elysium was that expensive when put into perspective

A month of elysium would probably be only one payment per day, because even if a reasonable person somehow needed daily elysium for a month straight, they wouldn’t need it while they sleep.
That’s still about 90 dollars though…

Elysium time only ticks down when the server is in use. Elysium is only 200 dollars a month if you’re some no-life that sits in Elysium all day.

Furthermore, you can simply fight in the Bronze or Nimbus Sea. You aren’t going to keel over and have a heart attack if you fight in a public server.

a lot of the people i see hosting elysiums keep them open for the public for extended periods of time

true but elysium is there for a reason

Honestly just make Elysium a one time purchase of somewhere between 500 and 2000 and nobody will have any reason to complain.

Frankly I think Elysium is a completely pointless feature that offers nothing that you couldn’t find elsewhere especially post full release and should really only exist for dev events so I couldn’t care one way or the other about this.

Its planned to be used for big raid bosses down the road.

If its still an obscenely expensive paid feature by then, that’ll be really bad.

i would really like to have elysium not be paid for with real money considering i have a lot of robux and not a lot of money

it should just be with galleons it would give people a reason to grind maybe

EA Odyssey

Since Full Release isn’t adding raid bosses (as far as I know) the only point of the location itself is going “wow, I’m in the rich people place!” and maybe for hosting events.

We already had another crappy monetization feature suggested earlier. We don’t need any more of them.

Also, I don’t think Elysium has any reason to be paid. It simply exists to cater to PvPers- the minority of players who supposedly keep the game alive while also being a detriment in virtually every other aspect. The irony of Elysium being paid is that it makes it less appealing to the people it’s supposed to be appealing to. I assure you plenty of people would rather spend a minute or two sailing to Munera than pay 300 Robux/3 dollars for only 10 hours of access with a few benefits to it. And for those who don’t want to do either, Vetex is losing out on some players.

But It’s For Raid Bosses!” Then why not just separate the raid-boss aspect of Elysium from the PvP aspect? This is not the only time when Vetex made something unnecessarily overly-complicated.

But Vetex Is Making Bank From It!” Is simply not an excuse for crappy game design/monetization. I assure you Vetex wouldn’t lose out on much if Elysium was free, considering that he can still make some income from Premium players staying there, which would be more likely the case if they didn’t have to spend Robux for an ultimately minor part of the game with minor benefits.

well regardless of what you think/believe, right now its 300 robux for 10 hours and that aint gonna change anytime soon, so might as well make it a subscription

pvpers would disagree, its lure stems from the fact that there is always a lower ping there than any public server because there isnt many things to render in

really have no idea where this rumor started from but unless it was directly stated by one of the developers recently then its either discontinued or its just a lie

well there’s also a lot of space for several people to blast each other in

The timer only ticks down in use, this is assuming pvper is playing elysium for 24 / 7 and immediately purchases elysium access after timer extinguished

I’ve seen people micromanage this by hosting elysium 1 hour per day

yeah :+1:
