thank god, theres another reaper user
how long did it take for you to fully learn how to use reaper?
edit: forgot i missed day 29:
day 30 [decided to mess around for this one]:
looks like the first month is finished.
24s a good improvement, the instruments were playing together. most of your previous attempts usually miss that
25, idk if you can tell but I can see that you have the imagination or vision and you kinda got it on this one.
I think if you tried putting a reese bass in this music then it would improve
Also donāt worry too much about making a music everyday, I tried that myself but it gets tiring after a few days.
if you feel like it then try reworking a music you made before into a new music. Chances are that it will show you how much you improved, try re-listening to old music and new ones too. Did that myself and it kept me positive
yknow what.
from this month on, im scrapping the whole schedule for now and am just gonna drop music when i feel like it (dw, it wont take any longer than a week to make 1 track).
i got exams coming up and need time to revise
i AM working on something, think its by far my best work yet
preview:
ok just finished the track today:
YOO YOU GOT THE CHORDS WELL, thatās really good progress dude
I think the different sections came out well however itās repeated too many times
This guyās video really helped me with avoiding that issue during my learning
In simple idea you could separate a music track into like section A, B or C and the idea is to make sure you donāt go like AAAA or AAABBBCAAA which would sound odd or will lose the attention of the listener.
This one will take a little more time to learn so donāt worry if you canāt grasp it instantly so take your time.
i noticed this problem in this track as well but unfortunately couldnt come up with any new ideas to make it more interesting.
