the experimental curses are just fucked up experiments like the name suggests. they arent even magic, and some dont even give immortality (Merlin’s Nirvana). I dont think spirit energy can turn into elements like magic can, they can have the aura of it, but not be it exactly but thats extrapolation.
I dont even think that aspect of them is canon anymore lmao but if it is, then I mean like prometheus probably just did added that on in his head as he was fucking turning to ash making them
rupin was already a tweaker from having to stand there forced to stay out of reach of it while desperately fighting to stop people from taking it for decades. or he couldve already been a tweaker by default

- experimental curses are curses since they were typically fucked up experiments the Gods would do, elemental curses is the water thing and the seeing your loved ones, including your children, age and die as you stay the exact same

50% of his arguements are just lack of knowledge. (Information that either was lost forever and doesn’t needs to be re-introduced or its will be introduced later in the story. Plus, why the fuck does he thinks that Growth curse is elemental?)
25% of his arguements are about “open questions” - (things that do not require to be confirmed and have absolutely no impact on the story, but can be theorised or imagined by people to have a reasoning. Example: “Sea Curses” could be a new name made for them after The Fracture, while the old name was never mentioned to prevent confusion")
