So we know that AA clashing would never get added back in combat but how about in certain cutscenes as quick time events basically?

I like the idea.
it would probably fit best with bosses that you can only fight once (something like shura, but with multiple phases) since it would be weird to have a cutscene every time you farm the boss
Or maybe with some sidebosses, where you first have to defeat them in a certain area and then they use some huge explosion attack and you have to do a QTE to protect yourself. After that first time beating the boss, you wouldn’t be able to do the QTE anymore since the area is already destroyed, and would instead spawn the boss in as the 2nd phase/ weaker version after the attack.
So it’s probably something cool for later in the game where the player is more powerful and the enemies are as well.
just make the boss skip the qte as a mirage and instantly go to 2nd phase upon reaching the health threshold
Maybe make it so it’s skippable after the first one so if players want to they can redo the cutscene
How would weapon vs magic clashes work?? Infinite flying slashes?
