New Boat Section - Utility

Proposal

Just as the title explains, there will be another boat section (Similar to sails/hulls/figureheads) that adds a certain utility to a ship.

Examples:

Water Barrel:
Makes the ship immune to fire/magma dmg
OR
make it more resistant to heat-based attacks

Emergency Rowboat:
Adds a rowboat that you can cut off and escape with

Move Grappling hook to utility:
Self-explanatory

Lava Barrel:
Makes the ship immune to cold-based after effects, like frozen, but sets you to ship on fire for a couple of moments
Or
make it more resistant to cold biased magic

First strike:
Your first cannonball shot does more damage. Refreshes when you repair your ship

Meat Freezer:
Adds a storage space for food to not spoil

Cannonball Storage:
Increases storage for cannonballs

Reason to add/change

  • More options
  • More diversity
  • Adds a bit of a twist to a fight

Negatives:

  • More complex, might be unessesary

Ah yes, I especially like this idea.

This would be an overall cool feature.

The water bucket sounds nice, I assume that if your boat is on fire. You also take damage so water buckets would be neat hehe.

I like the ideas here but its missing something…

Can we attach missile silos to our ships?

I don’t see anything bad with this. And the idea of an escape rowboat in your Frigate sounds nice!

The only use rn i can think of is

big ships that are slow as iron, but has alot of cargo hold
good for cargo missions
bad for everything else

I don’t really like how the water barrel as it specifically only nerf some magics, but the rest seems cool enough along with the overall potential

With enough explosion magic, anything is possible… atleast in the realm of turning things into craters or removing all evidence that they ever existed.

i made a suggestion a while ago that no one really cared for. ill use part of it on this…
make something (in my suggestion was water magic) that camoflagues your boat in the water so sharks dont see you (sharks attack small boats
