Is the silent ghost found at Akursius Keep named Silas the same person as the Arcane Government Rear Admiral, Silas The Silent?
It’d make a heck of a lot of sense, since they give you an urge to defeat criminals.

Yeah that was what I was thinking.
His whole thing as well is that he is silent (or at least for a while)
I now want to resist it because I don’t sound like a cat when I mrreow :3 I sound like Gary the snail
Also having cat ears sounds nice at first until you realize how inconvenient actually having cat ears would be

Finally got sinister gaze for my newly create third file
It was faster than i thought it would be, early game treasure chart gave me alot of candies

I’m working on my 10th slot for this event. Already did it on 9 slots.
Gonna go for 15, then maybe 16.
I’ve been thinking of doing the same thing for my 12 files (I’m only on my second tho lol bc I’ve been busy). How much time have you spent overall for each file? And do you have any time saving tips/strats?
Here is the strategy I wrote out in balancecord:
How to speedrun halloween event
- Kill calvus 37-42 times
- Take every event quest through this route: Ravenna → Cernunno → Shell Island (for wheat) → Akursius → Cirrus
- Save your charts til you get 2nd granny quest
- Hoard Sealed Chests until you have around 35
- Progress the quests in synergy
- Check bounties frequently and know where they spawn
- Check harvest spots on Shell Island, Forest of Cernunno, Blackreach Island, and Harvest Island whenever you’re near them
- After getting 1350 Candies, buy all the items from Julius in Sailor’s Lodge
CANDY MATH FOR HALLOWEEN EVENT
90 candy (diving quest) + 105 candy (sealed quest average?) + 125 candy (chart quest if all common spots) + 90 to 132 candy (boss quest with calvus) = 452 candy from Halloween quests
808 (37 calvus kills) + 410 to 452 = 1218 to 1260 Candy
You will probably get the 90 missing candies from doing spare treasure spots or diving spots

I don’t think they serve any purpose after you buy all the event stuff, and I remember reading somewhere that they disappear after the event so there’s not really a point in collecting extra either

You get a small amount of galleons per candy once the events over, could be a great way to get some money without marketplace
Probably wouldn’t be worth grinding candy for that though. You could just do that on another file and get more of the seasonals
