Those are just my ideas of different weapon skills that could be added, but I dont feel like adding them into another game discussion topic, as always, made for fun.

Cleave Rush

Cleave Rush - “Rush forwards and slash with your sword multiple times before releasing an elegant sharp strike that pierces through your enemies.” - An unique weapon skill that can be armed only on Light Bladed, Bladed, Long Bladed, Heavy Bladed and Dual Bladed weapons. Colossal Bladed weapons cannot use this due to being too slow and inefficient to be used in such manner of weapon techniques.
When using this skill, user unsheathes it’s sword in a slight windup, dashes towards the cursor and releases a quick slash forwards. This happens 2 times in total, before the user charges up and releases another, bigger slash while dashing through. This skill travels some distance and is similar to Selino, however does not require cone check since it’s movement is similar to one of Flash Strike’s.
There are unique mechanics with this skill, such as it having knockback on hit, which will allow you to push your enemies forwards and hit them continuously. Parrying the damage will result in negating the knockback, forcing the Cleave Rush user to turn around to hit once more.
Final slash of Cleave Rush has a higher knockback, which makes the victims be knocked almost right in front of the user.
When hitting the final slash, it will reduce the endlag of the user himself, which allows to extend the skill with something else. Not hitting will result in a higher endlag.

Sword Draw: Hunter Strike

Sword Draw: Hunter Strike - “Slash your blade in a specific manner to create stationary air slashes that will fly forwards at high speeds shortly after.”
Previously named “Waiting Slash”, SD: Hunter Strike is a special variant of Air Slash, that will create multiple stationary air slashes in one place. After some time, those slashes will fly towards the cursor at high speeds and cut through anything encountered on its path. Those slashes appear one after another, and fly in the same way, which means you can redirect some of the slashes towards the new location if fast enough.
This skill deals in overall more damage than an air slash, likely either equal to or higher than a Primal Swipe’s damage.
This skill can be armed only on Light Bladed, Bladed and Dual Bladed weapons.

Glimpse of Valor

Previously named “Fan Roll”, this is a special skill for Light Bladed weapons AND a special miscellaneous class of weapons (Which I forgot to make a suggestion of lol) like Scythe and Fan.

Glimpse of Valor - “Use your agility to throw several daggers in a fan shape to every side, effectively endangering everyone nearby.”

When using, user will jump and spin, throwing a lot of knives in all directions, dealing damage. Those knives will eventually hit either a surface or a target. Only 5 maximum of knives can hit one target (otherwisely would be an overkill in 1 versus 1 combat) and if a knife is forced to hit a target (and the limit is active), then the dagger will rebound and search for any other target.

And oh god, this one’s my favourite. I was mainly inspired by Warcraft III while making this, and specifically Maiev Shadowsong’s skill called Fan of Knives where she throws multiple knives in all directions to deal damage to everyone around.

I’ll probably add more of them when I feel like it, for now only this…

I feel it would help to have unique weapon skills created without requiring a new weapon be made to go along with them.

So far these are pretty neat, not much else to add

Chain Grasp

A default skill for a fanmade miscellaneous weapon of “Bending” or “Chained” class (again, did not make the suggestion) - Chains, (Yes that is a very cursed weapon) or any other Chained weapon.

Chain Grasp - “Throw your chained weapon to ensnare the unfortunate ones to be trapped in the rings of chains.” (idk what better description I could make)

Chain Grasp is a semi-grab move. When casting, user throws out his chains (If its just Chains as the weapon) in front of him and makes them form several rings, until going back to the user.
If any target got into the hitbox of the rings, they will get ensnared and locked up in them. User will be able to freely move the victim by his cursor, and by the end of the grab even throw them away. The grab itself deals continuous, but low damage by the time being and lasts a few seconds before weakening and releasing the target.
