It’s clearly obvious that we’re not fighting Wotan anytime soon nor will we reach his level during the story. Even if the player were “special”, They would be strong in their own right. But they still won’t be as strong as the former. I highly doubt that we might return to Sameria multiple times during the Nimbus Sea storyline and then go to specific islands to check on the others but would have fights along the way.
There’s also a possibility that Sameria would be attacked directly by Keraxe, but I don’t know if that would be the last few chapters of the storyline. And during those last few chapters may have a chance of traumatizing moments and one of them would have the player (Us) have their second awakening, anything could be from a friend dying or being crippled by a powerful curse user. Of course, what i stated is clearly speculations and anything could happen within the storyline.
