It is objective that the game has declined to the point of obscurity on Roblox. Despite the projected implications that the Guild update would bring on popularity, we have seen little to no activity in the game. Imagine the shock I had when this game of yours, previously housing more than ten thousand at any point in time, dropped from such high prestige to tally only two thousand players the day after an influential update, that is, the guilds update, and now, only around five hundred players at peak hours. Similarly, this effect has expressed itself on the forums, with previously over three thousand threads a week in on-topic discourse and at present, only ninety-nine discussion threads a week. All that remain are simply sycophants or those who, without careful thought, choose to play your husk of a game.

The game has not been updated in about 2 months, most players are waiting for the revamp, and the current game isn’t fun or fleshed out at all, which will all obviously lead to declining player counts. I don’t care about how many people are playing World of Magic, I am focused on the future of the game as Arcane Odyssey.

While it seems a population of non-developers can never indeed decide whether or not a game is “good” or not (and some ideas by individuals are truly unwise to implement), it is crucial not to neglect the so-called “wisdom of the crowd” as you have done

This makes absolutely no sense. The entire reason World of Magic was hyped up was because of its prequel, Arcane Adventures, which you seemingly didn’t play. Almost all old players and a lot of the new ones agreed with all of the changes mentioned in the TGR post, I don’t know where you are getting this info as if everyone is against it. There were multiple polls made about the changes.

This feature of the TGR is terrible and will only lead to the death of your game.

As mentioned above, the entire foundation and beginning of the hype around World of Magic was due to its predecessor. If you don’t like islands, just say it, stop trying to speak for the entire community on this matter, because you are clearly in the wrong.

I call for you to be considerably more open to new community ideas than you are now. I am sincerely concerned about how any popular ideas that go against your TGR are shouted down or ignored by you. You said once that you “didn’t care” for new ideas or the reversion of your ideas. But taking advice from the audience will help your game grow further.

I take suggestions often when needed, which they aren’t right now because the game is being revamped. I’ve been making games on this platform for nearly 10 years, and believe it or not, I know what I’m doing.

I offer you a choice, Vetex. Will you make your game more popular than it is now, or will you simply ignore this plea from a former developer and blame Roblox for the failure of your game and not yourself?

I think I’ll stick to listening to the 98% that are in favor of TGR instead of an enraged, entitled person who thinks they can see the future. I’m not changing my plans.

Just because you don’t like something doesn’t mean the majority thinks the same, which is the entire point of the post. These changes are all for the better, and if you don’t believe that, that’s fine, you don’t have to play the game after it releases, and you will just be proven wrong, as I have done to many other doubters over the past 10 years.
