Am just here to quote what vetex said and to point out logical fallacies provided in this post, hello all! First of all the basis that the âmajorityâ or even âa large minorityâ is against the TGR update is blatantly false and falls under a hasty generalization due to lack of evidence, proof, and backing. On top of that repeating previously said arguments of âthe collective communityâ as if it is the end-all-be-all to your claim is a circular argument because you keep referring to it as if it were true for every statement, which is just incorrect on many levels. Also the generalization that âthe game will become a husk if this continuesâ is a slippery slope which basically means youâre generalizing things to the degree that there is only one outcome, also you used the term sycophants wrong. Finally to end it all off you used a call to action as your status as a former developer in order to plea your case as if it were true in the first place, an appeal to pity. I truly hope you do not feel this way towards the finished result of the game as I personally feel you will miss out on what great work both vet and the rest of the testing and moderation team have dedicated to it, which is a shame because it would be due to your preconceived notions of a result you havenât seen or bothered to educate yourself about. Also sycophant means someone who acts in order to gain an advantage.
