Yeah it’s another direct nerf to pve (we really need that combat tag split). Though for PvP which I think is where a lot of people complain from. It’s a muted point. I dunno this one seems more like a nothing burger
it’s really not a big deal, if everyone’s power is nerfed by 15%, no one’s power is nerfed by 15%
a tag split would be the ideal thing here but it really doesn’t matter
It won’t be a full 15% nerf to your stats, as it will affect different Armor sets differently.
Sunkens for example probably won’t be affected because they don’t have any power to begin with.
Not really, because now theres no consequence for stacking defense only.
when did i mention all stats being nerfed
Power IS your stat
Well the split isn’t just for the silly power. I’ll use Deepwoken since it has it and use their fists vs ao strength
In both games these builds are bad-mid in pve but excel in PvP.
Where deep differs then ao unless they do core mechanically changes they actually nerf fists for PvP while buffing them for pve without effecting the two sides. People who wanted them nerf for PvP? Happy. Buffs for pve? They’re uh, getting there but they weren’t nerfed.
In AO when you nerf Thermo in PvP (I don’t really care I don’t really like Thermo after vanish but it’s the easiest example) you also nerf it in pve and as we know strength in pve is
. But you can’t buff it for pve since that will buff its pvp power
??? sure whatever yeah
“If power stacking is your power, then what are you without it?”
Wouldn’t the nerf be also too enchants and gems. You gotta get power somewhere unless you run no power. Which I find based and funny
Reject power be tortle
Some sets have no Power, they will be affected differently.
Sunkens for example have no Power, so people running Sunkens won’t lose as much power as someone running armor that already has high base Power
I never mentioned all stats either???
it all seems pointless in the end and honestly sucks that we likely have to keep repeating this same cycle
size meta → nerf size → atk speed meta → nerf atk speed → power and defense meta → nerf power and defense → utilizing specific magic/fs/wep affinity meta → You know the gist
repeat
Self eating ouroboros
like by the time we reach lv600 will our power even reach close to ancient+ dragons
i got a feeling the global downscale will be the same
maybe RipT will give us the possibility of seperate tags now that theres someone that can optimize ao’s ancient code yea idk
one could say a null ouroboros
all that remains is nerfs without reason
I feel like any game that wants to seriously support pve and PvP (yes I know ao is a pve game first but there’s a lot of PvP tools nowadays). You really need a split. As what’s good for PvP isn’t normally good or fun for pve and viceversa
Cero metralleta.
No jarl ivar fix for him sitting there and not taking ANY damage.
erm it’s not a glitch it’s indeed
That’s my guess lol
This truly was the final balance.
